Our Hosts are carefully selected to deliver high-quality experiences that bring people together, inspire new friendships and help our members enjoy everything South Manchester has to offer.
Whether you organise walks, teach yoga, host workshops, run fitness classes or create unique local experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

WHAT IS AN OFFICIAL NEXT CHAPTER SOCIETY HOST?
An Official Next Chapter Society Host is an approved independent individual or business that creates and delivers experiences through The Next Chapter Society platform.
Our Hosts are trusted members of our community who share our values of professionalism, kindness, inclusivity and creating exceptional experiences.
Every Host is personally approved before joining our platform.

OUR HOST STANDARDS

Every Official Next Chapter Society Host is carefully vetted before approval.
We're looking for people who are:

That's why we only approve Hosts who meet our standards.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Every Host application is personally reviewed.
Our approval process includes:
1. Complete the Host Application Form.
2. Tell us about yourself and your experience.
3. Upload any relevant qualifications, certifications or licences where applicable.
4. Provide evidence of valid Public Liability Insurance where required.
5. Attend a short online or in-person interview.
6. Review and sign our Official Host Agreement.
7. Once approved, you'll receive your Official Next Chapter Society Host status and can begin creating experiences.

HOSTING THROUGH OUR PLATFORM
Once approved, you'll be able to:
• Create experiences
• Set your own pricing
• Manage your own availability
• Receive bookings through The Next Chapter Society
• Grow your own audience

The Next Chapter Society will retain an agreed commission from every successful booking made through the platform.

OFFICIAL HOST VERIFIED
Every approved Host will receive an Official Next Chapter Society Host badge.
This badge can be displayed on:
• Your website
• Social media
• Marketing materials
• Email signature
• Booking pages
It demonstrates that you've successfully completed our approval process and are recognised as a trusted Official Next Chapter Society Host.

HOST INFORMATION & TERMS
• Every Host application is individually reviewed before approval.
• All applicants may be required to provide relevant qualifications, certifications, licences and evidence of experience.
• Where applicable, Hosts must provide proof of valid Public Liability Insurance and any other insurance required by law or relevant to the activities they provide.
• The Next Chapter Society reserves the right to request updated insurance or qualification documents at any time.
• Official Next Chapter Society Hosts are independent businesses or self-employed individuals and are not employees, partners or representatives of The Next Chapter Society.
• Each Host is solely responsible for planning, organising, promoting and delivering their own experiences safely and professionally.
• Hosts are responsible for carrying out appropriate risk assessments and complying with all applicable health and safety legislation.
• Members book experiences through The Next Chapter Society platform; however, every experience is independently organised and delivered by the Host.
• The Next Chapter Society acts solely as a booking and promotional platform connecting Members with independent Hosts.
• Hosts remain solely responsible for customer service, communication, cancellations, postponements, complaints and refunds relating to their experiences.
• Where a Member is entitled to a refund, the Host is solely responsible for issuing that refund in accordance with their published cancellation policy and all applicable consumer legislation.
• Commission retained by The Next Chapter Society is non-refundable, regardless of whether a Host subsequently refunds a Member, except where required by law or otherwise agreed in writing.
• The Next Chapter Society accepts no liability whatsoever for the delivery, cancellation, postponement, quality, safety or outcome of any experience delivered by an independent Host.
• Hosts agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Next Chapter Society from any claims, losses, damages, legal proceedings, liabilities, costs or expenses arising from the experiences they organise or deliver.
• Approved Hosts must sign and comply with the Official Next Chapter Society Host Agreement before publishing any experiences.
• Failure to maintain appropriate insurance, qualifications or professional standards may result in immediate suspension or removal from the platform.
• The Next Chapter Society reserves the right to approve, suspend or permanently remove any Host at its sole discretion in order to protect the quality, reputation and integrity of our community.
