Trying Something New: A Mother and Daughter Discover Padel at Padelsup

There’s something rather special about trying something completely new together — especially when you’re mother and daughter.

That’s exactly what Gemma, 45, and her mum Denise, 75, have been doing recently, heading to Padelsup in Sale, Manchester, to learn the game of padel and joining Maria’s classes.

Thirty years apart, but sharing the same attitude: why not give something new a go?

Discovering Padelsup in Sale

Padelsup is a family-run padel business in Sale, Manchester, with two courts and a welcoming clubhouse where you can relax and enjoy the social side of the experience too.

The clubhouse is fully licensed for alcohol, making it a lovely place to stay for a drink and a chat before or after your game.

And if, like Gemma and Denise, you're new to padel, Maria’s classes are a great way to get started. You don't need to be sporty or experienced — just turn up, have a go and enjoy learning something different.

For Gemma and Denise, it has been a chance to do something new together, have a few laughs and enjoy an experience that neither of them had tried before.

Part of the Next Chapter Society community

We're delighted that Padelsup has partnered with Next Chapter Society and has created a special benefit for our members, available when they use their Next Chapter Society members' fob.

It's one of the many benefits of being part of our growing community and one of the ways our local partners help us give members more opportunities to get out, try something new and discover great places close to home.

Because your next chapter doesn't have an age limit.

And sometimes, the best way to start one is simply to say:

“Why not?”
